SessionGlyph

Hashed session continuity packets for cross-platform AI work.

PROTOTYPEContinuity / provenance

The Problem

AI work loses continuity across sessions and platforms—decisions, open questions, artifacts, changed files, claims to verify, risks, next actions, dissent, and compressed summaries are not preserved in a verifiable, tamper-evident format.

The Approach

SessionGlyph carries the work: decisions, open questions, artifacts, changed files, claims to verify, risks, next actions, dissent, compressed summaries, and hash chain. A Python encoder/decoder and schema (v0.1.1) implement the packet format with SHA-256 hash chaining. A local-first browser extension stores packets in IndexedDB. Forms a continuity packet with SymID (identity) for cross-platform AI work.

What Exists Today

  • ✓Protocol v0.1.1 implemented in Python (encoder/decoder)
  • ✓JSON schema (17 fields) defined
  • ✓SHA-256 hash chain implemented
  • ✓Local-first browser extension stores packets in IndexedDB
  • ✓Drift verification prompt specified

//What It Does Not Prove

What this project does not prove.

  • ✗Local protocol prototype only
  • ✗No cloud sync or deployment
  • ✗Automation plan not fully wired end-to-end
  • ✗Not independently audited

Evidence

Hashed session continuity packets with 17-field JSON schema and SHA-256 hash chain

PROTOTYPE
Artifact: SessionGlyph v0.1.1
Version: v0.1.1
Environment: Local development
Date: 2026-08

Result:

Python encoder/decoder and JSON schema implement continuity packets (decisions, open questions, artifacts, changed files, claims to verify, risks, next actions, dissent, compressed summaries, hash chain). Local-first browser extension stores packets in IndexedDB.

//Verification Boundary

Local protocol prototype only. No cloud sync or deployment. Automation plan not fully wired end-to-end. Not independently audited.
